Our mission is to encourage, support, and showcase unbounded artistic expression by artists from all walks of life, while using the power and benefits of the creative process to give back. Artist Bio
Hi, my name is Nick and I am the artist and founder of
Astronauts With Angel Wings!
Born and raised in Worcester, MA, USA, I was lucky enough to grow up in a safe, loving home with both parents and two siblings. By no means were we wealthy, but I always had what I needed to explore my creative side. I was also fortunate to have had teachers in the public schools who believed in the power of art and expression and encouraged us to explore those things freely. However, I know that today, more than ever, this is not the norm for many children growing up in the city.
We all have personal struggles, and despite my healthy upbringing, I've had my share throughout the years. However, no matter what I had going on, art, music, and writing played a huge part in my ability to make it through. I would love the chance to share that healing aspect of the arts, even if it helps just one kid. I truly believe that for some of us, freedom of expression is the best medicine. The thought of a child being prevented from doing so in their own unique way, simply because they cannot afford materials, is appalling. So, let’s do something about it!
